Hasty lovers
don’t understand
Don’t see this
little teat
Its presence
has no effect
But prickles
When cold
As annual lies
Written in dedication
Mumble in-absentia for
Thirty-four years:
Ear
To tummy
Listening for
whirring cells
Ouroboros tears or
The saddest mad joy
At the vessel
Its blackened lines
Proof of ancient
Female bathing
