Aired December 17th, 2020 on Cashmere Radio, 18h
The Goldrausch project for women artists promotes the careers of outstanding, emerging women artists through a one-year postgraduate professional development course, an exhibition, and public events. To celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2020, Goldrausch have collaborated with Cashmere Radio to produce special shows with some of its 2020 participants.
In this show, I was invited to moderate a discussion and produce a radio show with the artists Mona Hermann, Rosanna Graf, and Gosia Lehmann on the themes that connect their artistic practices. We move through alternative belief systems and the search for truth in illusion, contemporary modes of shamanism, and the 5 senses of plants.
Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt is a comprehensive programme devoted to the professionalisation of women in the arts. A one-year postgraduate course conveys the specific professional skills and information that are needed to cope with the complex demands of independent artistic activity. The goal is for each participant to develop her own perspective as she goes about knowledgably and self-confidently shaping her career in the fine arts.
